Enterprise Estonia will take Estonian companies to the international trade fair Smart City Expo 2021. Bisly is one of the eleven Estonian companies that were selected in the competition and now have the opportunity to present its smart products at the e- and m-services trade fair in Barcelona, Spain in November.
The Smart City Expo & World Congress is the most important event in the field, bringing together leaders and visionaries of the world’s most successful cities, companies, research centres, universities, and manufacturers, as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations. As soon as the Smart City Expo took place for the first time in 2011, this international summit became a global reference event where experts of urban space and technological developments meet. Smart City Expo is a leading professional and social meeting place for new ideas and international networking.
Bisly’s unique smart building technology will help to make both residential and commercial buildings energy efficient and thus reduce the environmental CO2 footprint of buildings. Buildings consume up to 40% of energy in the EU, and automated energy consumption can significantly reduce this rate.
Recently, Bisly raised 1.7 million euros to carry out its aggressive expansion plan into European countries and participation in the Smart City Expo is one of the important steps in achieving export goals and international recognition.
Bisly’s first export steps have already been taken and by the end of the 2021 the first residential buildings with Bisly smart building technology will be completed in Åland. In addition to nearby markets, Bisly has strong operations in both German and Asian markets, and several real estate developers from other parts of the world have shown interest in the Bisly’s solution.
The Smart City Expo trade fair will cover energy, transport, urban planning, ICT solutions and innovative topics such as smart society, efficient government, environment and recycling, innovation, transport, energy and sustainability, etc.
