2025 was not a year of loud announcements or isolated wins. It was a year of structural change across markets, teams, and the product itself.

Instead of rushing out a traditional year-end recap, we chose to take a step back. Now, already well into 2026, the patterns of last year are clearer: what we built, what shifted, and why it matters going forward.

Following our in-depth 1-on-1 with Ants Vill, we asked leaders across Bisly the same four questions. What follows is a curated conversation highlighting the most telling moments and signals from 2025, and what they unlock for 2026.

Looking back at 2025, what was the most defining moment or achievement for Bisly?

Kristjan Kõrgmaa, CFO

“The Series A1 funding round in the summer was the defining moment from a Finance perspective. It marked a transition from proving that our technology works to scaling it with confidence.

More than capital, it was validation of our product vision, execution, and the growing demand for scalable smart building infrastructure.”

Kristjan Luzkov, VP of Product

“For Product, 2025 was defining because we successfully pivoted to a partner-first business model.

Launching the Partner Portal, Bisly Academy, and evolving the Single Cloud Platform meant redesigning the product experience so partners can operate independently and at scale.”

Maciej Tomaszunas, Country Manager Poland

“Building a strong pipeline and introducing Bisly to the Polish and wider Central European market was the biggest milestone.

The level of interest from developers, integrators, and partners confirmed that our solution resonates and that we’re building on the right foundations.”

Sascha Stuckmann, Country Manager DACH

“In Germany, it wasn’t a single moment but a steady journey.

Developers are only now seriously engaging with smart home automation, and the biggest achievement was building awareness and credibility that, by Q4, started turning into real project discussions.”

Merit Somelar, Baltics Sales Manager

“For me, the year was defined by trust. From first-time smart home clients to long-term partners who keep coming back – that confidence means everything.

Seeing Bisly projects expand beyond Tallinn, and even to places like Muhu island, showed how much reliable systems and remote support really matter.”

Which project, partnership, or customer win are you personally most proud of this year and why?

Salim Seremba, Country Manager UK

Being able to demonstrate Bisly’s value within an organisation of that scale is a strong validation and we’re excited about expanding further into their residential pipeline.”

“Working with The Crown Estate has been a major achievement.

Sascha Stuckmann, Country Manager DACH

I also want to highlight One Gruppe, who realised multiple Bisly projects and even secured subsidies by combining energy-efficient refurbishment with automation.”

“Our partnership with AMPX in Luxembourg stands out — they are fully committed to Bisly and already have a strong reputation in their home market.

Maciej Tomaszunas, Country Manager Poland

“I’m especially proud of initiating pilot projects and strategic discussions with large international players.

These early engagements validate our technology and create pathways for Bisly projects to scale across borders.”

Merit Somelar, Baltics Sales Manager

“Seeing Bisly included in designs by default has been one of the most meaningful shifts for me.

And personally, the Regati pst 5 project with Liven AS stands out — supported by a strong partnership with Mitt & Perlebach. It’s been my biggest highlight in four years at Bisly.”

Kristjan Kõrgmaa, CFO

“What stands out for me is how Bisly evolved from a primarily direct-sales, project-based company into a technology provider with wholesale partners like Onninen and BK Grupp.

Nearly doubling revenue compared to 2024 showed that the model works.”

What changed the most in 2025, and what was the biggest lesson for you?

Tarmo Tali, CTO

“AI. Full stop.

It’s no longer a tool on the side — it’s reshaping how software gets built. We’re at the beginning of a platform shift larger than anything I’ve seen before.”

Kristjan Luzkov, VP of Product

“AI moved from experimentation to real value creation.

This culminated in the development of our AI Agent, Adam, designed to support facility managers with daily operations and reduce complexity through automation.”

Kristjan Kõrgmaa, CFO

“AI enabled efficiency gains measured in multiples allowing us to scale without proportional hiring.

It also gave a glimpse into where major ERP platforms are heading, which is exciting for the future of Finance.”

Sascha Stuckmann, Country Manager DACH

“The biggest shift was learning to adapt faster.

When an approach didn’t deliver results, we adjusted quickly — and that agility helped us move conversations from ‘nice-to-have’ smart homes to a natural next step for residential buildings.”

Liis Normak, Head of People

“People topics became much more closely linked to delivery and performance.

Clear roles, structured onboarding, and consistent feedback aren’t just HR fundamentals — they directly affect execution speed and stability.”

And looking ahead, what should partners, customers, and future Bisly team members expect from 2026?

Kristjan Luzkov, VP of Product

“2026 will be a year of execution and launches.

We’re bringing our commercial BMS to market, expanding into new building segments, and investing heavily in localisation and product-market fit across countries.”

Sascha Stuckmann, Country Manager DACH

“We’ll expand our team in Germany and bring new innovations to market.

This is where we’ll show what lived innovation looks like — and how AI-powered automation delivers real value.”

Maciej Tomaszunas, Country Manager Poland

“2026 will be a year of accelerated growth: new markets, new solutions, and new partners actively delivering projects with Bisly.”

Salim Seremba, Country Manager UK

“Partners and customers can expect continued expansion across hardware and software.

The next 12–18 months will bring new solutions that reflect how ambitious Bisly’s roadmap really is.”

Merit Somelar, Baltics Sales Manager

“Expect steady momentum – more visibility, more collaboration, and an even smoother journey for customers and partners.

We’ll keep building on trust and clarity.”

Tarmo Tali, CTO

“Expect change — but not the kind you can predict.

The tools will evolve rapidly, but our mission stays the same: smarter buildings, lower energy use, and better comfort.”

Now, the direction is clear.

2025 was about building the engine – across product, markets, partnerships, and people. Those shifts only become visible once you zoom out and connect the dots.
2026 is about turning foundations into momentum.
