Bisly has been selected to take part in the ABB Startup Challenge 2026, becoming the first Estonian company chosen for this global innovation challenge. Organized by ABB together with SynerLeap and Microsoft, the challenge brings together selected startups to collaborate with ABB teams on MVP proposals and advance solutions with real industry impact.
For Bisly, this is a major milestone and an important recognition of the company’s work in making intelligent buildings more energy-efficient, scalable, and easier to manage through cloud-based automation.
Being selected for a challenge of this scale marks an exciting moment not only for Bisly, but also for Estonia’s growing technology and cleantech ecosystem. As the first Estonian company to join the ABB Startup Challenge, Bisly is proud to represent Estonia on an international stage alongside other ambitious innovators working to solve real-world industry challenges.
The ABB Startup Challenge 2026 began with a 10-day challenge phase, where selected startups work closely with ABB teams to develop an MVP proposal. Finalists will then be chosen to continue to the next stage and present at the final event in Bilbao.
“This is an important recognition for Bisly and a proud moment for our whole team. To be selected for the ABB Startup Challenge 2026 and to do so as the first Estonian company is a strong signal that the work we are doing in scalable building automation has relevance far beyond our home market. We are excited for the next steps and grateful for the opportunity.”
Ants Vill, CEO
The selection reflects the dedication, talent, and long-term vision of the Bisly team, who continue to build solutions that help make buildings smarter, more efficient, and better prepared for the future.
As the challenge moves forward, Bisly looks forward to contributing its expertise, learning from the process, and representing Estonia in a high-level international innovation program.
